In a world where funding for the arts is being cut from the school programming, we need creative opportunities more now than ever. We need the beauty and inspiration that the arts provide. The world of theatre offers children the opportunities to experience empathy, diverse perspectives, cultures and to see life through a new lens. Lyn Kelso, who founded Imagine U at Northwestern University, will share a look at the world of theatre for young audiences and the values it provides for its audience and ultimately all of us. Imagine U is a family theatre program in the Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts at Northwestern University that presents productions for children from ages 3 to 12.
