Jim Gibbons Presents "Dr. Seuss Is On The Loose"
Historian Jim Gibbons presents the life of Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Geisel's journey began by rhyming words on his mother's knee, and he would go on to create whimsical new words--as long as they rhymed! He made reading fun for generations of children. In this presentation, you'll hear about beloved classics such as One Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Dr. Seuss wrote 60 books, with more than 600 million copies sold in over 20 languages. His work expanded into animation and filming and earned him numerous awards.
With rhymes in your head and joy in your heart, you'll be Seuss-inspired before you depart!
