Welcome to the seventh season of the Northwest Indiana Community Art Association, Inc. (NICAA). I am sure our returning members enjoyed all of the programs we offered last year during our 2024-2025 season, beginning and ending with Leslie Goddard, lectures on various artists given by Laura Mueller, Jeff Mishur and Lucas Livingston and fun presentations by Donna Castellanos and Jeffrey Brown, Our Study Group offered presentations on "200 Years of Fashion," the Art of Origami and more. Our veteran members, as well as any new members of NICAA, will be treated to another exciting and creative season in 2025-2026.

As you leaf through this booklet, please take note of the educational and entertaining programs the members of our Program and Study Group committees have put together for all of you. We will celebrate Jane Austen's 250th birthday in September, take a bus trip to the Halim Time and Glass Museum, visit the Carmelite Monastery and much more this season! Please make sure to get your reservations in on time for each event. Christine Small will once again be a presenter for our Study Group, as well as several new speakers, such as Mary Ann Pals who will discuss her Artist in Residency Experience at the Indiana Dunes National Park. Please consider joining us at the Lake County Public Library for these informative discussions.

As the President of NICAA, I would like to thank all of my Board Members who make all of these programs possible. They are truly a "well-oiled machine" who work together to plan events, bus trips, lunches, refreshments and decorations. Without them, we would not be able to bring these quality programs to you. And, of course, a big thank you to all of you, our NICAA members, who come back each year to enjoy these wonderful events and help make our organization a success. Enjoy this season!
