Welcome to the eighth season of the Northwest Indiana Community Art Association, Inc. (NICAA).  Last year our members were entertained by a variety of programs ranging from a celebration of Jane Austen's 250th birthday, to a lecture and tour at the Carmelite Monastery to Dr Seuss, Princess Diana, Fairies and Fantasies, Art in Nature and a wonderful bus trip to the Halim Time and Glass Museum!  Our Study Group offered presentations on Photography, Printmaking, Painting Divinity and more.  Our members, present and new, will be treated to an equally exciting and interesting season in 2026-2027.

I hope you take the time to check out the wonderful programs being offered this season.   Leslie Goddard will be debuting her "Audrey Hepburn" interpretation, Michelle Mishur will discuss Art Heists, Brandon Johnson will return to discuss Art and Fashion, and we will have lectures on Raphael, photography, interior design and theater.  We certainly have a diverse and interesting array of subjects!

As NICAA's President, I would again like to thank our wonderful Board members who work together to make these programs possible - including finding new and interesting presenters, beautiful venues, table decorations and providing delicious lunches.  Also, a big thank you goes out to all of you, our NICAA members who return year after year, often inviting friends to join us.  I hope you all enjoy this season.  Thank you so much for your continued support and participation.

Sincerely,

Linda Moran
